{"id":299,"date":"2016-12-09T11:47:00","date_gmt":"2016-12-09T10:47:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.completeaupair.nl\/?page_id=299\/"},"modified":"2026-04-26T08:33:30","modified_gmt":"2026-04-26T06:33:30","slug":"costs-and-our-services","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.completeaupair.nl\/en\/costs-and-our-services\/","title":{"rendered":"Costs and our services"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h1>Costs and our services<\/h1>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row el_class=&#8221;responsive-table&#8221;][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]Our service is always complete, all of these tasks are included in our rates:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0 \u2022 Carefully recruitment and selection of the au pair and the host family<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u2022 Interview with the host family<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u2022 Interview with the au pair<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u2022 Gather data and submit the application to the IND<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u2022 Check the mandatory &#8216;Au Pair Contract&#8217;, including Weekly schedule<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u2022 Appointment at the Filipino Embassy in The Hague the sign and legalize the Au Pair Contract<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u2022 Guiding the au pair in the Philippines to apply for and obtain her Visa<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u2022 In case of emergencies, we are there for you during day and night<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u2022 Take care of the report and administrative obligations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After your au pair arrives in Holland:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0 \u2022 Cultural trips in compliance with the by law mandatory cultural objective<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u2022 Reception at the airport including transport to your home address or our address<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u2022 Guiding of the administrative procedures in Holland, such as register en deregister at the BRP, Embassy, apply for a Bank account, Health Care Benefits (Zorgtoeslag), et cetera<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u2022 Care during the program for your au pair and for you as host family<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u2022 In case of emergency we will be there for you during the day and night, for you and your au pair<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u2022 Take care of the report and administrative obligations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If we have matched you with one of our au pairs, our unique garantees apply:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0 \u2022 \u2018No cure no pay\u2019 guarantee: we ugarantee that your au pair will be approved by the IND, will receive her Visa at the Embassy and will actually arrive in Holland.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u2022 Maximized &#8216;additional costs guarantee&#8217; for the expenses you\/your au pair has to come to Holland, such as submitting the request to the IND, the Visa costs, required documents, travel and housing costs, flight ticket, special au pair insurance<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u2022 \u2018No mismatch\u2019 guarantee valid for the first 3 weeks . If your au pair leaves your family or if there&#8217;s no good match: we&#8217;ll match you with a new au pair and arrange her coming to Holland. This doesn&#8217;t apply to the additional costs, which will only be covered if possible to charge a new family, which will be a maximum of 50 %<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u2022 Unique \u2018Full year au pair\u2019 guarantee \u2013 in case your au pair leaves your family during the year prematurely: 100 % discount on your next au pair, calculated prorated for the remaining months. This doesn&#8217;t apply to the additional costs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For the exact and conditions, please read our General Terms and Conditons, which we will send to you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Costs<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0 \u2022 We charge a rate of \u20ac 2.605 for our services up to submitting the application to the IND. This very low rate applies to an au pair who you&#8217;ve found yourself and excludes above guarantees.<\/li>\n<li>If the au pair is in Holland already with a Dutch au-pair permit, a reduced rate applies of \u20ac 1.185 if the au pair is with our agency already or \u20ac 2.190 if the au pair is currently with another agency<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u2022 If we match you with an au pair, an additional \u20ac 1.235 will be charged and includes all of the above guarantees.<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u2022 For our services during the months that your au pair stays in Holland we charge \u20ac 52 per month. The full amount for 12 months will be charged before submitting the application to the IND. If your au pair leaves prematurely we&#8217;ll reimburse the months which you&#8217;ve paid for in advance.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u2022 Discount is possible: we give a cashback-discount of \u20ac 250 if you take care of all the administrative steps in Holland yourself. Per request we can send you the details and conditions of this discount scheme (which we only advise experienced host families to participate in).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The interview with the host family and the au pair is always 100 % free of charge and without any obligations. We do not charge any costs untill the host family definitively decide to invite the au pair.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Optional services (you don&#8217;t need to decide about these untill the IND has approved the application)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0 \u2022 Airport pickup of return is possible for \u20ac 125 each (only between 10:00 and 22:00) + \u20ac 0,45\/km for the travel distance from Schiphol to your home address<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"gmail_default\">\u2022 Arranging and guiding for medical tests costs \u20ac 100 + the costs of the tests themselves. You can also arrange these yourself with your au pair.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All rates are including VAT and excluding additional costs (see below for explanation of the additional costs)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Additional costs<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0 \u2022 Leges (administrative expenses\/legal fee) IND \u20ac 423 (amount in 2026)<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u2022 Sign, legalize and send Au Pair Contract at the Filipino Embassy in The Hague \u20ac 27,50 for the embassy and \u20ac 55 for UPS<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u2022 Allowance for the au pair \u20ac 340 a month<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u2022 Costs in Holland for the TB Test, if needed a phone including \u20ac 10 balance, register at the BRP,\u00a0 total amount of around \u20ac 300<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u2022 Travel expenses for your au pair to Holland and back to the Philippines<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u2022 Board and lodging for you au pair<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u2022 The premium for the special au pair insurance is around \u20ac 461 &#8211; \u20ac 540 per year. This insurance is mandatory when working with us, as all unexpected costs (medical costs, extraordinary costs, liability, own-risk amount for the basic healthcare insurance) are otherwise at your expense, or for the au pair (who will not be able to bear these costs themselves). We will arrange this insurance for you free of charge.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u2022 Optional: some host families offer a Dutch language course to the au pair. We only advise you to dot this if you think that this is beneficial and if\u00a0 the au pair is motivated herself to do the follow the course.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u2022 Optional: if you would like to give something extra to your au pair, you could consider giving a &#8216;Weekend Vrij&#8217; (weekends off) subscription. With the subscription she can travel free in weekend and with discount during off-peak hours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All amounts are exclusive of board and lodging costs. The amounts are a good indication, but not fixed amounts, no rights can be derived from this data.
